The fact is when you
quote monthly payments you will not only be able to sell your equipment
to more prospective customers. But it is MUCH easier to increase
the total sales transaction amount by only quoting monthly payments.
For example, do you think it would
be easier to add a five year extended warranty/service contract
by saying, "for only $5,000." or "that will be an
extra $100/month."
Better yet, include all of the "extras"
when you make your first payment quote. It is much better to quote
$1,672/m than $45,000 + $5,000 for the 5 year warranty.
